We are scheduled to be induced on Friday, February 17th at 7 am.....please check this website for pictures:
www. babababies.com Wish us luck!!
Well, the doctor just called with the results of the 24 hour urine collection test she had me do last week. Every
time I go into the doctor for an appointment, they do a protein test. Every time it has been in the average range. The reason
she wanted me to do a 24 hour one was to see if protein would be found at other times of the day, since I always come in to
the office late afternoon. She just called with the results of the test. The range for a normal pregnancy 24 hour urine collection
protein test is less than 150 somethings of protein. She said if the test came back 300, they would induce immediately. My
test came back at 210. Because of that, she said that she didn't want to necessarily induce immediately, but at my appointment
on Wednesday, if my blood pressure is still high, we will make a decision then. So, once again, it's hurry up and wait. She
was a little concerned, but she said that I shouldn't be extremely worried, just continue what I'm doing (which is nothing!),
and that she would see me on Wednesday. So that's the update!!! Stay tuned.....
Well, Syndy had another doctor appointment, today (February 8). Her blood pressure was still high, so the doctor recommended
that she do a 24 urine sample collection to test for protein (Protein in the urine is a sign of preeclampsia). There has never
been any protein found, but the doctor wanted to check throughout a 24 hour period to make sure that was true. Syndy is to
turn the sample in on Friday morning, get more bloodwork done, get her blood pressure checked again, and the doctor will make
a decision on Friday about when and if she would induce Syndy.
Stay tuned!
On Friday, February 3rd, the doctor told Syndy that she was to be put on bedrest. Her blood pressure is too high, and
Syndy needs to stay off of her feet as much as possible. The doctor also told Syndy that she would not wait more than a week
after her due date to induce her. Therefore, sometime in the next 3 weeks we will be having our baby, either the natural way,
or with a little help. If you have any questions, please let us know....the baby is doing great, kicking like crazy, but the
doctor has determined that Syndy has gestational hypertension, which could lead to preeclampsia-a serious condition that can
threaten the baby. Keep us in your prayers over the next 3 weeks as we wait for the arrival of our bundle of joy!!
Our family is embarking on a wonderful journey. We found out on June 7th that Syndy is pregnant! We would like to share
this exciting time with everyone, so we will be updating this website as much as possible. We'll put our favorite pictures
on this site and give information about how the pregnancy is going and how we're all doing.

Here are the updated nursery pictures...we moved some things around, and added a few things. Hopefully, Syndy won't change
anything again before the baby comes! Cary is getting tired of changing the nursery around! :-) Now all we have to do is wait
for the baby!!!!!
